The Cordwainer, Northampton
The Moon on the Square, Northampton
The Sugar Loaf, Market Harborough
We had an overnight stay in a car-park in Great Missenden (one reason we manage to travel around when we do get chance is due to not stopping on campsites and using the money we save from that on diesel instead) and then on the Monday paid a visit to Obsidian Art in Stoke Mandeville just outside Aylesbury. There was an exhibition on by many of my favourite artists : Hannah Willow; Wendy Andrews; and Jaine Rose amongst others. A lovely little gallery with some beautiful works of art - I left with three greetings cards which I shall frame and covet until I can afford some larger pieces.
Our rest-stop on the way home was Eyebrook Reservoir, we had lovely views across the water and were treated to huge flocks of geese flying in. In the morning we could see that there were also ducks, swans and egrets.
