The Forest House, (lunch!) Chester
The Square Bottle, Chester
The Picture House, Colwyn Bay, another interesting building inside, with many different floor levels :o)
The Palladium, Llandudno
The Black Bull, Bangor
Not a Wetherspoons this one, but when you're away you have to do the touristy stuff too and that includes an obligatory photo at Llanfairpwllgwyngwyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!
Tafarn y Porth, Caernarfon
Pen Cob, Pwllheli
The Sussex, Rhyl
The Castle, Ruthin
The Elihu Yale, Wrexham
The North and South Wales Bank, Wrexham
The Grey Friar, Preston
The Twelve Tellers, Preston - a converted bank like a few Wetherspoons but lots of great details left intact, and some little quirky rooms.
The Sir Richard Owen, Lancaster
The Green Ayre, Lancaster
Special one this, The Eric Batholomew (in honor of Eric Morecambe) in Morecambe
The Furness Railway, Barrow in Furness
The Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, Keswick - this holds an old court room and some cells, in the cells the doors have been left in place and some interesting artwork really fits the theme
The Dog Beck, Penrith
And just to show we don't just visit the Wetherspoons, here are some photos from this trip!
Cheers for now,
Thanks for reading
Phil & Stefanie :o)
